The Aria Studio brings exceptional comfort to Cathay Pacific’s regional Business class. Designed around the passenger journey, the space supports both relaxation and productivity through a full lie-flat bed, direct aisle access, expanded shoulder space and suite walls that create a greater sense of personal space.
Every detail has been carefully considered to make the cabin feel intuitive and refined. Bespoke reading lamps provide focused illumination, while integrated wireless charging and dedicated laptop storage keep essential items close at hand. Premium materials and meticulously crafted finishes add tactile comfort to the experience.
The centre suites feature adjustable privacy dividers, allowing passengers to choose how they enjoy their space. They can remain open for conversation and shared travel, or closed when greater privacy is preferred. This flexibility reflects our people-centred approach, giving passengers more control over their own environment and allowing the experience to adapt to individual needs.
Entertainment is integrated into the journey through a 4K ultra-high-resolution screen with Bluetooth audio streaming, offering passengers a more personalised way to enjoy Cathay’s award-winning inflight entertainment.
We also designed a new Economy experience for the Cathay Pacific Airbus A330, with a focus on comfort, accessibility and keeping passengers connected throughout the journey. Newly designed seats feature sculpted seatback cushions, while larger 13.3-inch 4K ultra-high-resolution screens provide an enhanced entertainment experience.
Bluetooth audio streaming allows passengers to connect their own headphones, while accessible charging options and improved stowage solutions keep personal devices powered and within easy reach. These details are designed to make the cabin feel more intuitive, helping passengers settle in and travel with much greater ease.
The Cathay Pacific Airbus A330 project demonstrates how thoughtful design can improve every stage of the passenger experience. From the generous personal space of Aria Studio to the enhanced comfort and technology of Economy, each element has been developed around the realities of regional travel.
For us, this project reflects the value of designing the aircraft as a complete experience rather than as a collection of isolated products. The cabin environment, seating, lighting, storage, technology and passenger touchpoints work together to create a coherent expression of Cathay Pacific’s brand and a more comfortable journey for every traveller.
