JPA Design partnered with flydubai to build their brand and create a holistic user experience for their new Boeing 737 MAX fleet to reflect the growth of the airline.
The aircraft interior employs clever design to maximise customer space and comfort and reflects the evolution of the brand.
Business Class seats were redesigned to include thoughtful details that satisfy real needs with improved privacy and storage to suit the specific demands of the market.
Unique seat fabrics are complemented by soft leather headrests, richly textured bespoke carpets and a seat shell lining in a soft, dark fabric, all helping to present the Business Class cabin as a warm and cosy space to relax, be entertained, dine, work or sleep.
Economy cabins were upgraded with adjustable leather head and neck supports and flexible storage options to improve customer comfort and convenience. The seat fabrics mix grey and blue with subtle highlights of orange to reference flydubai’s brand colour palette and complement their newly launched cabin crew uniform.
As part of the new brand experience, all soft furnishings including curtains, carpets, service ware and bulkheads were redesigned in a palette influenced by the increasingly design-led culture of Dubai. The attention to brand consistency also included a bespoke digital user interface for the seatback entertainment system that is intuitive and complementary to the materials used throughout the cabin, including its tailored lighting scenarios.
