For Westminster Healthcare’s flagship project in Chennai, JPA combined our wide-ranging experience in design for the hospitality and healthcare sectors to successfully create a landmark facility in this booming city.
To achieve this we have transformed an eleven storey, 7,000 m2 building designed for offices into accommodation for diagnostic imaging facilities, operating theatres, private rooms, a medi spa, conference centre, rehab physio gym, fitness studios and a range of complementary medical, dental and wellness clinics set within an environment which has the opulence and style of a 5-star hotel.
The public spaces are finished to a level of specification that reflects Westminster’s ambitions to provide exceptional care services in Chennai and beyond while complying with the most stringent of hygiene standards. The more private rooms and spaces are also finished to the highest practicable level.
In addition there is a beautifully appointed, restful roof garden and a coffee shop where visitors can relax and re-fuel. The doctors and other medical professionals also enjoy exceptional rest facilities.
