The layout of this 1,250 sqm, 260 seat, Aeroflot branded lounge is based on organic curving forms to aid flow, visually unify the irregularly shaped site and to reference the Aeroflot logo.
The furniture layouts, specifications and seating combinations offer visitors choice, access to connectivity and opportunities for social interaction while also providing private areas, maximising seating capacity and ensuring the lounge does not feel overcrowded even at the busiest times.
There is an extensive self-service buffet serving hot and cold food and beverages, a choice of dining arrangements, an intimate bar, business, and family zones, washrooms and a range of ancillary facilities necessary to meet the expectations of the most demanding domestic and international guests.
The design is contemporary and international in character and inspired by the city of St Petersburg.
For example, reference is made to the city’s ornamental gardens and fountains in the design of the screens that have been introduced to create private seating areas.
